2011/2012: Monday English Class starts on September 19, 2011

We will meet at the Church of Ascension. The class will start at 10:00 am. Please push the door bell to enter a glass door on Nevil Street side of the church. The classes are free for IWAP members. Annual membership fee is $25. You can register at any classes. Childcare will be provided for small children with small fee.

On the both January 30 and April 2, we won't have a sitter due to no public school days.

Don't forget when Pittsburgh Public Schools are closed or two hours delay due to bad weather we won't have a class! Early in the morning on the TV channel KDKA or WXPI, on the radio or on KDKA or WXPI school delay website, you can get the information about school closing/delay.

You can even receive e-mail or text message alert about school closing/delay. It is very easy to sign up.

The Summer English Class

August 9th is the last day of the Summer English Class.

Our regular English Classes will be started in September. If you would like to join it, you should register first. Please come to our Thursday meeting starting from September 9th at the First Baptist Church.

English Classes Start on September 15th

English conversation classes are taught every Monday from 10:00-11:30 am at the

Church of the Ascension in Oakland.

4729 Ellsworth Avenue

The church is located on the corner of N. Neville St. and Ellsworth Ave.

There is no charge for the class other than membership of the group, but there will be a $3 charge per family for babysitting.

The class starts on September 15th.

Please bring an article to the class. It could be something you have found in the newspaper or in a magazine and you would like to share and discuss with your class mates.
